I was asking a question, I did  not know that was BASHING anyone!!! I know my child's smile is priceless!! I do believe those games canceled could have been made up.. As for the question I was asking no one would ever answer, until I asked where MY MONEY went to... No one bashed anyone that volunteers their time!! My child asked me if there was a medal give, I stated I did not know and then asked my question which was never answered!! It does not hurt to give other encouragement to your children, they play baseball get a trophy at the end, soccer get a medal, football again trophy. This is why my child asked!! Next time someone asks  a question about where THEIR MONEY went to, do not jump to conclusions!!!

@ Mad Mohawk....My child is not involved in Baseball, but is in Football and Baseball.  PERSONALLY SPEAKING....I found your post very rude to Tommy Sue.  I have read all of the posts,and thought she was asking a legit question, no where did I see that she was "Bashing" anyone.  A LOT of "KIDS" like getting a trophy / medal at the end of the season...just a little something they can put on their shelf to show off for all of the Hard Work THEY put in...practices, games, ect.  They are children, that to them is earning it.  Please don't classify all kids in the aspect that they expect to have something handed to them.  My child for one doesn't, and No, and I am not one of those parents you classified as just dropping them off at practice or game time.  I sit at every practice and every game, even studying for my nursing degree on the sidelines as I watch.   Then again, this is just my opinion.........
